Terms of Service

Terms and conditions for using createinvoice.uk, including account use, subscriptions, and your rights as a user.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Create Invoice UK ("the Service"), operated by Create Invoice UK ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

7. Termination

  • By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for violations of these Terms, non-payment, or suspected misuse.
  • By You: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Prepaid fees are non-refundable.
  • Post-Termination: We may delete your account and Your Data after termination. Some data may remain in backups for a limited period.

8. Service Availability and SLA

  • Availability: We aim to provide reliable, continuous service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
  • SLA: A Service Level Agreement (SLA) may apply to certain subscription tiers; details are provided in your plan documentation.
  • Disclaimer: The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid by you in the 3 months before the claim arose or £1,000, whichever is less.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Create Invoice UK, its affiliates, and staff against claims, damages, and expenses resulting from your use of the Service or breach of these Terms.

11. Intellectual Property

All software, trademarks, and content provided by the Service remain our property or that of our licensors. You may not use our trademarks or branding without prior written permission.

12. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet outages, strikes, or governmental actions.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
  • Dispute Resolution: We encourage resolving disputes informally. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
